Premier League transfer news and rumours
Chelsea sign Pulisic
Chelsea have won the race to sign Christian Pulisic after the 20-year-old USA star agreed a £58m deal that will see him loaned back to his current club Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season.
“The 20-year-old, who moved to Germany as a teenager and has made more than 80 appearances for Dortmund, admitted in November that he hoped to play in the Premier League having refused to sign an extension to his existing contract,” reports The Guardian.

The midfielder had been linked with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United, but instead chose to sign for the Blues.
The deal doesn’t come as a surprise. Rumours have been circulating on social media that Pulisic was on the verge of signing.
Dortmund said: “It was always Christian’s dream to play in the Premier League. That was to do with his American background, and as a result we were unable to extend his contract. We have decided to accept a very lucrative bid from Chelsea.”
Nasri joins West Ham
Former Arsenal and Man City midfielder Samir Nasri has reunited with former boss Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham.
The 31-year-old Frenchman, who has just served an 18-month doping ban, was without a club after leaving Turkish side Antalyaspor in January last year.
“The two-time Premier League winner has signed with the Hammers following a successful period training with the club and his move includes an option to extend his stay further,” reports Sky Sports.
Asked about the move, Nasri said he would be coming back to “the most competitive league in the world, with a team full of ambition with a manager that I know. It’s the best job in the world and I’m really excited about it.”
Monaco want Fabregas
Monaco are planning a January transfer raid on Chelsea for Cesc Fabregas reports Mail Online.
“Fabregas has been frustrated by a lack of opportunities under Maurizio Sarri and has started only one Premier League game this season,” says the website.
“His current deal with the club expires at the end of this season and Monaco boss Thierry Henry is keen to tempt his former Arsenal team-mate to France.”
But the move may not be straightforward. Sarri has said he would only let the 31-year-old leave if the Blues had a replacement lined up. However, the signing of Pulisic could persuade Sarri to let Fabregas leave this month.
Liverpool interested in Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot, the grumpy Paris Saint-Germain midfielder who has spent most of the past six years being linked with an exit, may finally get round to leaving the French champions this summer when his contract expires.
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are interested in the services of the 23-year-old, but Barcelona remain favourites for his signature.
Inter want Ashley Young
Inter Milan will offer 33-year-old Man United defender Ashley Young a two-year deal when his Old Trafford contract expires in the summer, reports The Sun.
“United have so far failed to agree an extension with the England full-back... and he can talk to foreign clubs about a pre-contract,” says the paper.
“Inter have shown interest in snapping up Young in the summer should he fail to thrash out fresh terms at Old Trafford.”
Rashford set to stay
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford has decided not to quit Old Trafford in the summer after the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager. The England striker was mulling over interest from Real Madrid but will now stay in Manchester. (Manchester Evening News)
Fulham close in on Cahill
Fulham are leading the race to sign 33-year-old Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, who is set to leave the club this month. He is out of contract in the summer and could spend the final months of his deal on loan at Craven Cottage. (TalkSport)
