Isco, Werner and Lopez linked with Liverpool
According to today’s transfer gossip columns Liverpool are linked with a number of attacking targets this summer.
The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool and Manchester United are both “considering a summer swoop” for Real Madrid and Spain attacking midfielder Isco.

Also claimed to be on the Anfield hit-list is Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gómez. The 22-year-old Uruguayan has reportedly been recommended to Liverpool by former star Luis Suárez, but according to The Guardian Lopez is also a target for Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
The third attacker linked with Liverpool is RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner. The Liverpool Echo says the Reds could face competition from Bayern Munich for the 22-year-old German international.
City to reward Silva
Portuguese midfield star Bernardo Silva is set to be offered a new six-year deal by Manchester City. The 24-year-old has been linked with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, so City are keen to tie him to a long-term contract. (The Sun)
New deal for Brooks
Another Premier League star who is being rewarded for his form is Bournemouth’s David Brooks. The 21-year-old Welsh international is playing his first season in England’s top flight after signing from Sheffield United. Brooks has signed a new long-term contract with the Cherries. (Daily Mail)
Monreal out, Tagliafico or Tierney in?
Arsenal are drawing up a list of replacements for Spanish left-back Nacho Monreal, 33, who is a target for Barcelona. On the Gunners shortlist are Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico, 26, and Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, 21. (Daily Mirror)
Carrasco still in Arsenal’s sights
Yannick Carrasco remains on Arsenal’s target list despite the north London club failing to sign the Belgium international in January. Carrasco, 25, currently plays in China for Dalian Yifang and is also wanted by Milan rivals AC and Inter. (Daily Express)
Darmian wanted by Inter
Serie A side Inter Milan want to sign Manchester United right-back Matteo Darmian this summer for £9.5m. The Italian is wanted by Inter to replace on-loan Southampton defender Cedric. Inter are not expected to take up the option to buy Cedric from the Saints. (Football Italia)
McGinn to become a Fox?
Leicester City’s new manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing Aston Villa and Scotland midfielder John McGinn, 24. (Birmingham Mail)
Leeds eye Wilson
If Leeds United get promoted to the Premier League they will aim to sign Harry Wilson from Liverpool. The Welsh international, 21, has impressed on loan at Derby County this season. (WalesOnline)
Shelvey linked with West Ham
Out-of-favour Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey could swap the north east for east London this summer. The 27-year-old is linked with West Ham, the club he supported as a boy. (The Guardian)
