New Hampshire GOP chair: We need to drown Democrats 'until they cannot breathe'

Republicans are hoping the midterms will be a wave election for the party, and polls suggest that could indeed be the case. But the party's top official in New Hampshire has taken the metaphor a little further, suggesting over the weekend that the GOP needs to drown its Democratic opponents.

"A wave just doesn't happen," New Hampshire GOP Chairman Jennifer Horn said at a rally in Manchester, according to New Hampshire Journal. "Waves happen when every single member of a cause or a movement come together."
