A group of ghost hunters found more than they bargained for while probing an abandoned hospital in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The Vicksburg Post reports that during their exploration of the Kuhn Memorial State Hospital, the paranormal investigators stumbled upon an actual dead body. Authorities believe the victim matches the description of a missing 69-year-old Vicksburg resident; two men are in custody in relation to her disappearance.
The Kuhn Memorial hospital was built in 1932 following a smallpox outbreak and was used throughout the Civil War and the Yellow Fever epidemic. Abandoned in 1989, it has since been used in a horror film and featured in The Clarion-Ledger's Haunted Mississippi.
