"As international laws governing how information is shared over the internet are ever-changing and complex, we are currently investigating how we can accept registrations from potential Canadian contestants," show spokeswoman Alison Shapiro told the Toronto Star.

Canadian hopefuls that have already taken the show's online screening test are still in the pool of eligible candidates, and some are scheduled to appear on upcoming episodes of the show.
