Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign said Saturday that Bernie Sanders' team has rejected her three proposed New York debate dates ahead of the April 19 primary, ABC News reports.
"The Sanders campaign needs to stop with the games," Clinton press secretary Brian Fallon said in a statement.
Clinton proposed April 4, the night of the NCAA finals; April 14; and April 15 on Good Morning America. "The dates and venues she has proposed don't make a whole lot of sense," Sanders communications director Michael Briggs said in a statement.

Briggs also added that his team has proposed dates the Clinton camp has rejected, but didn't say which.
Due to the state's high delegate count and both candidates' strong ties to the area, the primary contest is set to be a heated one.
