Danny Willett won the Masters on Sunday, becoming the second Englishman to win the golfing event, after three-time champion Nick Faldo.

Last year's winner, Jordan Spieth, was way ahead going into the back nine of his final round, then bogeyed the 10th and 11th holes and had a quadruple-bogey 7 on the 12th. Willett pulled ahead after making three birdies over the course of five holes. "It was tough," Willett said. "Every time we seemed to make ground, Jordan seemed to pull ahead. We were just trying to dig in and dig in and make birdie after birdie. It was just a very surreal day when you look at the ebbs and flows."
