When it came out in 1984, Ghostbusters was a monster hit. The reboot, with an all female cast, is hitting theaters this weekend, and it has become something of a lightning rod. The new Ghostbusters — Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon — were on Wednesday's Kimmel Live, and Jimmy Kimmel asked them about the criticism, mostly from male viewers who trashed the first trailer. McCarthy suggested the trolls are mostly grown men who live in their mothers' basements, and Kimmel concurred. "I will say this," he added. "Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson — these guys gave you ultimate endorsement by being a part of the film. And who gives a crap about anybody else at that point?"
