On Sunday, Dustin Johnson won the U.S. Open, his first major championship. At the fifth hole, Johnson apparently saw his ball move, and notified a rules official. At the time, he was not assessed a penalty, but he was docked a stroke at the conclusion of the round. Johnson had a birdie during the round, and was guaranteed a victory despite the penalty. He finished at 4-under for a three-stroke win.
