Before two snipers apparently shot 11 Dallas police officers Thursday night, killing four, a peaceful protest made its way through the streets of downtown, and the Dallas Police Department live tweeted the event.
The demonstrators were protesting against recent officer-involved shootings of black men in Louisiana and Minnesota, and made their way from a park to the Old Red Courthouse.
The Dallas Police Department shared video of the protesters and even posted photos of officers posing with some of the demonstrators.Catherine Garcia
