The RNC's communications director basically just called Ted Cruz an 'a--hole' on national TV

Sean Spicer, the communications director for the Republican National Committee, thinks Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) communicated the correct sentiment when King called Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) an "a--hole" after Cruz refused to endorse Donald Trump in his Wednesday address at the GOP convention. In fact, Spicer admitted Thursday on CNN, he would "probably use the same verbiage."
Spicer called Cruz's behavior at the convention "disappointing," saying that as a "leader in the conservative movement, who knows what's at stake," Cruz should not have sent the message he did by not endorsing Trump. "He could've just said, 'I'm not coming, I don't feel comfortable,'" Spicer said.
"So, Peter King doesn't need to apologize for calling him a blank-hole, in your mind?" CNN's John Berman asked Spicer. "I'll let him speak for himself," Spicer replied.
