An enormous blob of foam is oozing through the streets of Santa Clara, California, and police are scrambling to respond, Fox News reports. In some places, the foam is as deep as 5 feet.
The gently undulating white mass appears to be coming from a building on Martin Avenue, and a TV crew at the scene was told it is likely a type of flame retardant. At this point, the foam is blocking some of the businesses in the area and has subsumed several cars.
Police are apparently stumped about how to remove all the foam. "There seems to be confusion about what to do next," Fox News reports.
