The first round of the 2018 Masters kicked off Thursday at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. Headlining the day is the fact that Tiger Woods is making his return to Augusta National for the first time since 2015.
Woods teed off mid-morning, though his first shot was an errant ball that hooked left behind the spectators. His second swing landed him just short of the green, and he eventually saved par on the first hole.
It's been 13 years since Woods last won the Masters, and he faces a crowded field of top-tier talent this year in the battle for the green jacket. Other contenders like Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, and Rickie Fowler will get going in the afternoon. You can watch a livestream of the tournament at Masters.com.
