The 6 most revealing moments from the new Game of Thrones trailer

Winter is here.
The magnificent first trailer for Game of Thrones' final season has finally arrived, and you better believe fans are ready to parse every last frame for juicy details. Here are some of the most notable moments from the new footage (caution: Spoilers abound):
1. We appear to get a glimpse of the Golden Company, a group of sellswords who Cersei mentioned last season Euron Greyjoy would recruit to help her fight Daenerys. The footage also shows someone we can presume is Harry Strickland, the Golden Company's leader.

2. Last we saw Tormund and Beric, they were struggling to survive atop the Wall as the White Walkers brought it crumbling down. But good news for all the Tormund and Brienne shippers out there: this trailer confirms they both made it out alive.
3. One of the key moments is a shot of Cersei looking on the verge of tears in King's Landing. Fans have noticed that she's drinking wine, even though she said she was pregnant at the end of Season 7. Could something horrible have happened to the baby — if she was ever pregnant to begin with? Or could she be resigned to her imminent death?
4. Jon is seen standing under Winterfell's Weirwood tree in a scene that should serve as a Season 1 parallel. Could he have just learned about his true heritage?
5. Jon and Daenerys are both seen walking toward Rhaegal and Drogon, and the way this is framed sure makes it look like we'll see the King in the North ride a dragon for the first time.

6. The whole trailer is built around the highly-anticipated battle against the White Walkers at Winterfell, which we see Jaime and Arya participating in. In the last moments, Podrick Payne, Brienne, and Jorah all appear on the front lines as well. Considering a recent Entertainment Weekly piece teased that beloved heroes will die at this battle, be prepared for some of the show's trademark heartbreak.
