4 NFL Week 4 matchups to watch
The NFL is already at the quarter-season mark, and Week 4 should provide some insight on who the real contenders. Here are four matchups to check out Sunday.
New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m. ET on CBS — This one features undefeated intra-division rivals. New England has coasted to a 3-0 mark, while Buffalo has surprised people with its dominant defense to match the Patriots win-for-win so far. But Sunday will be a big test for Buffalo, who have only beaten Patriots quarterback Tom Brady twice in their home stadium in 17 tries.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Detroit Lions, 1 p.m. ET on Fox — This is another battle of unbeaten teams, although Detroit does have a tie marring its record. Like New England, Kansas City has looked dominant early behind quarterback Patrick Mahomes, while the Lions are coming off two very impressive wins against the Los Angeles Chargers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants, 1 p.m. ET on Fox — Ok, this one probably doesn't feature a playoff contender, but Giants fans have cause for excitement now that rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is under center. Jones took the league by storm when he lead New York to a comeback victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The Giants received a lot of criticism for picking Jones at no. 6 in the 2019 draft, and while it's way too early to tell if he'll continue to play at a high level, he sure looks he's going to prove a lot of people wrong.
Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC — Backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater filled in admirably for the injured Drew Brees last week when the Saints went in to Seattle and left with a big-time victory over the Seahawks. They'll face an even tougher test this week at home against the Dak Prescott-led Cowboys, who have looked like a juggernaut so far, albeit against lowly competition.
