Corey Lewandowski says he won't run for Senate

Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is sparing us another dose of 2020 drama.
Lewandowski, who ran President Trump's 2016 campaign until the June before the election, used his congressional testimony in September to announce his "potential Senate run." But with 2019 on its way out, Lewandowski has confirmed he won't be taking the 2020 plunge after all.
"After much consideration," Lewandowski said he wouldn't challenge New Hampshire's Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D) next year, he tweeted Tuesday. "While taking on a career politician from the Washington swamp is a tall order, I am certain I would have won," Lewandowski continued. He'll still "be making an endorsement in the Republican Primary ... to ensure we defeat Jeanne Shaheen in 2020."
