Pagan wins right to wear horns on driver's licence photo
A pagan has been allowed to wear a set of goat's horns in his driver's licence photograph. Phelan Moonsong, 56, from Bangor, in the US state of Maine, said he wore the horns as a religious headpiece as a Priest of Pan and therefore they were no different to a Jewish man wearing a yarmulke or a Muslim woman wearing a hijab. He finally won the argument after months of fighting with state officials.

A New Jersey police officer has been suspended without pay over claims he targeted young, female motorists to pull over and ask out on dates. Investigators say Marquice Prather, 37, was arrested over a series of incidents, including him allegedly turning off his wireless microphone to avoid the encounters being recorded, as well as falsifying computer logs to hide the fact he had been mainly targeting women.

Locals reported hearing a loud bang moments before the power went off. Seattle power company City Light responded to requests for information on the fate of the fish, saying: "Sorry to say it did not survive the event."
