The Washington Post on Thursday published a bombshell report containing allegations from four women that Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore initiated inappropriate relationships with them when they were teenagers. "None of the women say that Moore forced them into any sort of relationship or sexual contact," the Post notes. Leigh Corfman was 14 years old when she met Moore; she told the Post that Moore kissed her and "guided her hand to touch him over his underwear." Several Senate Republicans, including Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.), said that if the allegations are true, Moore should withdraw from the Alabama race. In a statement, Moore categorically denied the Post's report: "These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and The Washington Post on this campaign."
