Frozen the Musical London: how to get tickets
Broadway hit based on Disney animation coming to the West End in 2020
Frozen is coming to London, in the form of a West End musical featuring fans’ favourite songs from the film.
Many parents will remember - whether fondly or with a shudder - the Frozen craze sparked by the release of the 2013 Disney musical animation.
However, even those thoroughly cold to the film’s charms would struggle to deny that it features some catchy tunes, most notably the once-ubiquitous belter Let It Go.

Broadway producers had much the same idea, and Frozen the Musical opened in New York’s theatreland last year to lukewarm reviews but a healthy box office.
Following on the show’s success stateside, Frozen the Musical is heading to the London stage, complete with a new UK cast playing Elsa, Anna and the other residents of Arendelle.
Broadway director Michael Grandage will make the transfer to London to helm the new production, with choreography by Rob Ashford and set and costume designs by Christopher Oram.
The plot of the musical is “broadly the same as in the movie, but extra songs have been written for the stage”, the BBC reports.
So when will the show premiere in the UK - and how can you make sure you’re in the front row?
When does Frozen the Musical open?
The show is scheduled to open in autumn 2020 at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The theatre, previously home to Broadway classic 42nd Street, is currently undergoing a £45m renovation project.
