The best commuting gear
Featuring a folding bike, wireless earbuds and feather-light backpack
1. Motorola MA1
This little black dongle enables wireless Android Auto, so that you can sync your phone with your car's dashboard without plugging it in. You need Android Auto in your car and your phone must be on Android 11 or above.
2. CamelBak H.A.W.G. Commute 30 Backpack
Aimed at cyclists, this feather-light 30-litre backpack is waterproof and reflective, with an additional dry sleeve for a laptop. The Air Support back panel provides ventilation and it has lots of handy pockets.

3. Beats Fit Pro
With flexible silicone wingtips that curl upwards, these wireless, noise-cancelling earbuds are a slightly cheaper alternative to Apple's AirPod Pros. Fitted with the same H1 chip, they respond to voice commands and have Spatial Audio.
4. Hydro Flask All Around Tumbler 354ml
This sturdy coffee cup has a no-spill lid with slide-across opening (which is designed to stop splashes, but not leaks, so it has to be kept upright). It will keep coffee hot for up to six hours, or ice-cold for 24 hours and is dishwasher safe.
5. Brompton T Line
One of the largest foldable bikes on the market, the speedy and agile T Line is made almost entirely of super-strength titanium. The single speed model, T Line One, weighs just 7.45kg, while the T Line Urban, with mudguards and four gears, weighs 7.95kg.
