We round-up the latest transfer gossip from the world’s football media
Neymar, Eden Hazard and Robert Lewandowski: to Real Madrid
Reports coming out of Spain suggest that Real Madrid are looking to “revolutionise” their attacking options. Spanish newspaper Marca says that time may be up for Real’s “BBC” strikeforce of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo. PSG star Neymar is Real’s top transfer target and he is joined on their shortlist, says Marca, by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi have also been linked with a move to Real.

Manchester United have started talks with David De Gea over a new contract, says the Daily Telegraph. The Spanish goalkeeper’s Old Trafford deal runs at the end of next season and he is reportedly a target for Real Madrid. Although talks are at “an early stage”, United want to tie their star stopper to a long-term deal.
Emre Can: Liverpool to Juventus
Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta has told Sky in Italy that the club are still pushing to sign Liverpool star Emre Can. The midfielder’s contract runs out at the end of the season and he would be available on a free transfer. Marotta said: “Emre Can is a player whose contract is running down, so it allows us to approach him for negotiations and that is the course we have taken. I can’t say if he could sign a new contract with Liverpool, but I can say we will try all we can to get the player. Obviously, we have to respect what the player wants.”
Daniel Sturridge: Liverpool to Sevilla
The Daily Mail reports that Liverpool have rejected Sevilla’s approach to take striker Daniel Sturridge on loan until the end of the season. The La Liga club were prepared to pay his wages in full, but it seems Liverpool would be looking for Sturridge to leave on a permanent basis during the January transfer window.
Juan Bernat: Bayern Munich to Everton
After signing Theo Walcott from Arsenal, Everton’s next big January signing could be Bayern Munich left-back Juan Bernat. The Toffees are in the market for a new left-sided defender and the Liverpool Echo says the 24-year-old Spaniard could fit the bill for the Merseyside club.
Leon Goretzka: Schalke to Bayern Munich
The Liverpool Echo also reports that Bayern Munich “have won the race” to sign Leon Goretzka - meaning Liverpool will miss out. The Schalke midfielder can leave on a free transfer at the end of the season and looks set to stay in Germany. As well as Liverpool and Bayern, Goretzka has also been a target for Manchester United.
Javier Hernandez: West Ham to Besiktas/Manchester United
Turkish side Besiktas will begin talks with West Ham striker Javier Hernandez. According to talkSPORT, the Mexican could be set to leave this month and failing to impress during his stay at the Hammers. Hernandez could also make a “sensational” return to former club Manchester United.
