Pep Guardiola wants four full-backs, claims the Daily Star, with the paper reporting that he'll have to fork out £110m to land the quartet as he looks to replace Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy.

Kyle Walker has long been linked with the City boss and according to the Star Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to sell the England defender but he is "holding out for £50m". City would prefer to pay £10m less for Walker but apparently a "compromise at £45m could be agreed this week" after Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino told Levy to take the money and let Walker go. The Spurs gaffer intends to use the cash raised from Walker's sale to prise Ricardo Pereira from Porto.

Next on Guardiola's wishlist is Juventus veteran Dani Alves and the Star says that the former Barcelona right-back is poised to agree terms after the Italian champions let him leave for free.

Then there's Ryan Bertrand of Southampton, the 27-year-old who has caught the eye of the Citzens gaffer in the last few months. He could be Guardiola's for around £25m, while Monaco's left-back Benjamin Mendy comes with a £39.5m price tag and is ready to move from France to England to further his career.

Up front at the Etihad, meanwhile, and question marks remain over Sergio Aguero's future with Daily Star reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are "preparing a massive £60m bid" for the City striker. The French outfit were beaten to their domestic title by Monaco and consequently they want a marquee signing this summer to send out a statement to their rivals. Aguero is first on their list but the Star says that City will only sanction his departure if they succeed in their mission to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.
