A Republican member of Congress has asked a chief from the US Forest Service if it would be possible to alter the orbit of the moon or the Earth to combat climate change. Louie Gohmert, the representative from Texas’s 1st congressional district, asked Jennifer Eberlien: “Is there anything that the National Forest Service can do to change the course of the moon’s orbit or the Earth’s orbit around the sun? Obviously they would have profound effects on our climate.”
