Activists claim 5G is ‘exacerbating’ coronavirus
And other stories from the stranger side of life
Conspiracy theorists fear that 5G wifi networks could be acting as an “accelerator” for the new coronavirus. Critics of the ultra-fast network erroneously claim it could be “exacerbating” Covid-19. An activist said: “We can’t say 5G has caused the coronavirus, but it might be exacerbating it.” Others have claimed the new virus is a cover-up for the alleged affects of 5G. As the UK’s independent fact-checking charity, Full Fact, says: “This is incorrect, the new coronavirus is a virus and there is no evidence that 5G is harmful to people’s health.”
Spanish police stop man’s dog lockdown scheme
