A man in Thailand has been accused of stealing his neighbours’ flip-flops in order to have sex with them. Police says that Theerapat Klaiya, 24, has a fetish for flip-flops and pinched 126 pairs from locals in Nonthaburi, central Thailand. He allegedly told officers that he would wear the flip-flops, cuddle and kiss them, rub them on his naked body, and then “have sex with them”.
Statue clean reveals true holy identity
A Dublin statue, thought to be a representation of Mary, turned out to be a statue of Jesus following a deep clean. The chemical cleaning of the statue outside Leo Fitzgerald House in Dublin revealed its true identity. As one resident put it: “It’s not Mary at all - it’s actually her son Jesus. We had a good laugh at it. For years everyone thought it was Mary, even the older folks who’ve been here for generations.”

Fox rescued after trapping head in wheel
A fox was rescued after getting its head stuck in a car wheel. The animal, in Croydon, had peered inside the alloy wheel and then found itself stuck. The RSPCA and firefighters joined forces to rescue him using special equipment to cut through the metal. Although it had a swollen neck, the fox emerged fine.
