A squirrel ended up in Scotland after it stowed away on a boat that departed from India. Pest Solutions in Aberdeen came into possession of a squirrel captured by crew members on a boat. “They looked after him and were feeding him grapes to keep him well after they took him into custody,” a rescuer told The National. “He had a good feed and seems to be behaving very much as a squirrel normally would.”
Phone mast compared to ‘God’s lavvy brush’
A phone mast disguised as a tree has been compared to a “gigantic toilet brush” by local residents in Scotland. Council officers granted planning permission last summer for the 25-metre high mast to be built on a Scottish farm near Dundas Home Farm in South Queensferry, said The Telegraph. Locals say the attempt to hide the structure with greenery failed because it stands more than double the height of the adjacent trees and resembles “God’s lavvy brush”.
World Cup album ‘would cost £883 to complete’
The Panini World Cup 2022 sticker album would cost football fans several hundred pounds to complete. A pack of four stickers would cost about 5p each in distant times, but now they cost 90p. Author and football finance expert Kieran Maguire told Sky News there are 670 stickers to collect for this year’s album, which, based on probability, would cost £883.80 to collect.
