Alderweireld considers his future

But despite a contract clause meaning he can leave for as little as £25m this summer, Alderweireld has suggested he’s not looking for a change.
Explaining how much the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool hurt, he struck an upbeat note in saying: “It’s the next step that we have taken and now we have to keep going. Next year we want to be here again.
“That’s the mentality, the philosophy we have in this group. To improve every season. And again with the new stadium, with the new vibe in the team, we’ll do good.
Ndombele speaks
Tottenham target Tanguy Ndombele has discussed his future as speculation increases that the Lyon midfielder is set to join the Champions League runners-up.
Spurs are determined to build on the success engendered by their run to the final and the French press believes that Ndombele is being courted by the north London club.
Asked about his future by Le Progres newspaper, the 22-year-old was cagey. He said: “As I told my agents and the club, I’m not fixed yet, I did not make a decision.
“Of course I could see myself staying with Lyon, the club will be in the Champions League. But I’ve not asked the question to stay or not and I’ve not spoken with the new staff.”
Ceballos chase
Spurs are pushing for face-to-face talks with Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, says talkSPORT, as they look to lure the 22-year-old Spanish international to north London.
Rumours in Spain suggest that Ceballos will be one of the players released by Real head coach Zinedine Zidane as he looks to shake up his squad after a poor season.
Apparently Tottenham are willing to spend “up to £44m” in their pursuit of the playmaker, although there is also interest from Liverpool and West Ham.
Trippier uncertain
The gossip suggests that Kieran Trippier could have played his last game for Spurs as rumours link the right-back to Napoli and Juventus.
The England international has experienced a slump in form this season. The Daily Mirror reports that when the defender was asked if he would be back at Spurs next season, Trippier replied: “I don’t know... Everybody’s got a decision to make, no matter what.”
Admitting that Tottenham have been “very good” for him, Trippier said he would have a heart to heart with manager Mauricio Pochettino later in the summer.
The 28-year-old said: “I’ll sit down with the manager and have a talk about my future. I see a lot of speculation about me not being here. I give everything, 100% every game, win, lose or draw. So we’ll see what happens in pre-season.”
Spurs to back Poch
The Daily Mirror reports that Tottenham will back manager Mauricio Pochettino in the summer transfer market following their 2-0 loss in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Spurs are linked with a number of players including Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez and Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon.
