Most of the musical tributes to the late great David Bowie have been covers of "Life on Mars?" But The Flaming Lips do things their own way, and on Tuesday's Late Show, they performed Bowie's first hit, "Space Oddity." Musically, their version is pretty faithful to Bowie's 1969 original, but there were no LED-lit scarves 48 years ago, nor were there wookiees (Star Wars didn't come out until 1977).
