Adele said she will not be performing at the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, denying rumors that were circulating last week. "Come on," she told her audience in Los Angeles on Saturday night. "That show is not about music, I don't dance or anything like that. They were really kind, they did ask me, but I said no."

Adele won a record-tying six Grammy Awards for her 2011 album, 21; she has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling artists alive. Were she to have performed at the Super Bowl, she would have joined the likes of Madonna, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, and, most recently, Beyoncé.
