Dad in Omaha accidentally eats 4 pot brownies, hilarity ensues
Today's A+ journalism award goes to the Omaha World-Herald, which blessed its readers with the unbeatable headline: "Omaha dad finds pot brownies, eats 4 of them, says mean things to cat." We've all been there.
As the Omaha World-Herald tells it, the Omaha dad, 53, found brownies that belonged to his adult children in the back of his car while unloading groceries. Being a dad, he ate four of them. Little did he know, they were actually pot brownies.
The dad then went to watch TV with his wife, but felt like he was getting "bad anxiety." Perhaps suspecting something was up, his wife tried to get the kids on the phone to ask what they had put in the brownies. She couldn't reach them, and so the couple called the paramedics:

As police were at the house, one of the couple's sons arrived and told officers the brownies belonged to his siblings. He told them he was "pretty sure it was just marijuana in the brownies," according to a police report.Paramedics called to the scene who checked the man found his vital signs to be normal. But they noted he was displaying odd behavior — crawling around on the floor, randomly using profanities and calling the family cat "a b----."The man told paramedics he felt like "he's trippin.'"
