Belgium defeated England on Saturday in the match to determine who would take the third-place title in the 2018 World Cup.
Even though England dominated the second half, Belgium found the net for a game-sealing goal in the 82nd minute, following an early lead earned in the 4th minute. Third place is Belgium's best-ever World Cup finish, and fourth place is England's best since it won the Cup in 1966.
The match was the second-to-last game of the entire tournament, leaving just the final face-off between France and Croatia on Sunday. The final teams standing will battle for the title in Moscow on Sunday, with Les Bleus the heavy favorite to win. The next World Cup will be hosted in Qatar in 2022.
