Crowds lined the streets of Phoenix on Thursday to say their last farewell to their longtime senator, John McCain, who died on Saturday.

McCain will lie in state in the U.S. Capitol rotunda on Friday — only the 31st American accorded that honor — before his funeral at Washington National Cathedral on Saturday and a private burial ceremony on Sunday at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis, Maryland.
