Kevin Spacey accuser reportedly took video of the alleged sexual assault
One of the men accusing Kevin Spacey of sexual assault reportedly has video evidence to back up his story.
Sexual assault charges against Spacey were officially announced on Dec. 24, a year after journalist Heather Unruh alleged that Spacey groped her 18-year-old son at a Nantucket bar in 2016. Police on Wednesday said there is video evidence in the case, with the man reportedly taking Snapchat video of the alleged assault and sending it to his girlfriend, per CBS News. Police also reportedly have statements from the alleged victim, as well as his girlfriend, his roommate, and a bartender.
The alleged assault was originally reported to police in Oct. 2016 before being made public in 2017, after actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making an advance toward him when he was 14 and Spacey was 26, Mass Live reports. Spacey at the time said he didn't remember the incident but apologized for what he called "drunken behavior." Fourteen others would later make sexual misconduct accusations against Spacey, per USA Today.

Shortly before the sexual assault charge was made public on Christmas Eve, Spacey released a bizarre video in which he speaks partially in character as House of Cards' villainous Frank Underwood, decrying his "impeachment without a trial" and saying that "in life and in art, nothing should be off the table." He tells the viewer that "soon enough, you will know the full truth" and seems to angle for an acting comeback while suggesting his House of Cards character could still return, even though the series killed him off and aired its last episode in November.
Spacey is set to be arraigned for indecent assault and battery on Jan. 7.
