North Korea says missile launch was a 'solemn warning' to South Korea

Following Thursday's launch of two missiles into the Sea of Japan, North Korea's state-run media on Friday said the test was a "solemn warning to the South Korean military."

The Korean Central News Agency said the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, "personally organized" the launch in response to news the United States and South Korea will hold joint military exercises in August. North Korea considers these drills a "rehearsal of war."
