Peter Dinklage is officially the only actor to win an Emmy for Game of Thrones

Peter Dinklage had a record-breaking Emmys run during Game of Thrones, but his co-stars were far less fortunate.
Game of Thrones' final Emmys just wrapped up, and it's now official: Dinklage is the only actor to have ever won an Emmy for the show, as Gold Derby notes. That might seem hard to believe, considering the series' legendary ensemble cast, but it's true. Dinklage picked up Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for playing Tyrion Lannister four times: in 2011, 2015, 2018, and 2019.
None of Thrones' other stars won an Emmy for the show, although plenty were nominated. This year alone, Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, and Maisie Williams were all nominated for the supporting actress in a drama award, but lost to Ozark's Julia Garner. Emilia Clarke also lost the lead actress in a drama Emmy to Killing Eve's Jodie Comer, while Kit Harington lost to Pose's Billy Porter, and Alfie Allen and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau lost to Dinklage himself.
