A lost art: Painters’ Painters at the Saatchi Gallery

A new exhibition celebrates artists who are bringing a fresh perspective to a traditional technique

Championing emerging and interesting artists who may not be shown elsewhere has made the Saatchi Gallery's name. This commitment to the unusual and underappreciated has once again been brought to the fore as the London space prepares to open one of its lead exhibitions for this year, Painters' Painters.

Saatchi has handpicked nine present-day painters, each with their own distinctive style, who are challenging conceptions about painting and are paving the way for the next generation of artists.
