- When: Wednesday 7 November
- Where: Etihad Stadium, Manchester

Manchester City are set to play their rivals Manchester United on Sunday, but United’s boss Pep Guardiola has urged his players to focus exclusively on tonight’s Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
City won 3-0 against Shakhtar in the Ukraine two weeks ago and are top of group F on six points. This puts them one ahead of French side Lyon after three matches.

While fans are looking forward to the Manchester derby against United, Guardiola says tonight’s game is just as crucial. The City manager said: “Every game is important and you have to evaluate. The most important will be Shakhtar, first because it is the next one and second because it is a final.
“After dropping points against Lyon, every game is a final. We have a big chance to make an incredible step to qualify for the next round and after [that] we have three or four days to think about United.”
In group F’s other game, Lyon host Hoffenheim (8pm, live on BT Sport Extra 4).
