The Newcastle manager has a history of losing his cool during matches, and could face heavy penalty

NEWCASTLE UNITED will not sack manager Alan Pardew after his apparent headbutt on Hull City player David Meyler on Saturday, but he may end up missing the rest of the season if the FA hands him a touchline, or even stadium, ban. The club have already fined Pardew £100,000 and given him a formal warning over the incident and must now wait to see what punishment the FA dishes out. There have been calls for a ten-match ban, which would mean Pardew would not be able to return to the dugout for the rest of the season. Counting against Pardew could be his previous record.
