3 April
Pep Guardiola has enlisted the help of his brother, Pere, to secure the signature of William Carvalho, claims the Daily Express.

At 24, Carvalho is a decade younger than Toure, and in addition his £25m price tag is well within City's range. The fact that his agent the Man City manager's brother could grease the wheels of the deal.
Although he has been around for several seasons and has been linked with a move to England for years, Carvalho really caught Guardiola's eye at Euro 2016, which he helped Portugal win, says the paper. What's more the playmaker is said to be "keen on a move to England".
With Sporting way off the pace in the Portuguese league this season, Carvalho feels the time is right for him to move to a club that will him the chance to win trophies and titles.

Man City transfer news: Yaya Toure being eyed up by both Milan clubs
27 March
Yaya Toure's future remains clouded in confusion, just days after rumours suggested he was mulling a move to Manchester United.
According to The Sun, Manchester City's midfielder
"has been targeted by both Milan clubs", with Inter and AC determined to land the Ivorian international in the summer.
His contract at City ends in a few weeks and although he would love to pen a new deal, it's believed the club are willing to listen to offers given Toure turns 34 in May.
Toure has "come close to signing for Inter in the last couple of years" only to change his mind at the last moment, says the Sun. This time he might give in to their overtures - provided they stump up enough cash.
Currently on £230,000 a week with bonuses, Toure is unlikely to receive anywhere near that amount in Italy. The Sun says the two Milan outfits Italian outfits will "stretch to slightly less than half that after tax".
Meanwhile, the tabloid also reports that Valencia are in talks with City about making Eliaquim Mangala's loan permanent. The Sky Blues have asked for £16m for the French central defender, but the Spanish side have tabled a £12m bid and are waiting to hear if City accept.
Reports in the Daily Express say Pep Guardiola is lining up a £50m bid for Spurs defender Danny Rose in the summer.
With Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Vincent Kompany all likely to leave the Etihad at the end of this season, the manager is in need of reinforcements to bolster his back four and apparently Rose is top of his shopping list.
According to the paper, Spurs "will find it difficult to resist such a huge offer" and will use the money to bring Luke Shaw from Old Trafford as Rose's replacement.

Guardiola wants to beat Arsenal and Liverpool to the defender - latest Man City transfer news and gossip
Wary of interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, Manchester City have "stepped up their pursuit" of Sead Kolasinac, reports TalkSport.
The trio of Premier League clubs have been stalking the Schalke defender for a while but German newspaper Bild says City have made the first move to steal a march on their competitors.
Apparently Sky Blues boss Pep Guardiola has "held a meeting with Gordon Stipic, the agent of Kolasinac, about the future of his client". Although the result of the meeting isn't known, 23-year-old Kolasinac, who is out of contract in the summer, is believed to be partial to a move to the Etihad, given that he's buddies with Leroy Sane.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror says Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman is on Guardiola's radar.
The 20-year-old winger was brought to the German champions by Guardiola 18 months ago on a long-term loan from Juventus. The Italians apparently don't want him back and the Mirror says Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti is unlikely to sign the youngster on a permanent basis.
He has nonetheless impressed in his outings for Bayern this season and the paper claims City "are ready to spend around £40m to land Coman ahead of rival interest across Europe".
Man City transfer news: Bonucci desperate to quit Juventus
23 March
Something's got to give at Juventus in the summer, reports The Sun, which claims Leonardo Bonucci will "join Chelsea or Manchester City in a world record move" if Max Allegri stays in charge of the Italian champions.
The 29-year-old defender has fallen out with the manager following a heated exchange, which the Sun takes great delight in detailing. Allegri allegedly called Bonucci a "d*******" and told him the "f*** off", to which Bonucci replied: "Go to hell."
Consequently, Bonucci has been dropped from the Juventus team and is now "determined to leave".
The Sky Blues are said to be leading the chase, with Chelsea and also Manchester United interested. But whoever wants to land the international will have to stump up £50m, a world-record fee for a defender.
Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News claims Pep Guardiola's goalkeeping woes could soon be solved as City are closing in on a £30m deal for Benfica shotstopper Ederson.
Having "written off" Claudio Bravo, who has been relegated to the bench after a series of poor performances, Guardiola has reportedly spoken to Brazil's Under-23 keeper with a view to a summer move.
City and Benfica are now haggling over a price, says the MEN. However, it adds, the situation is complicated because "his former club Rio Ave own 50 per cent of his contract, and so would receive half of any transfer fee".
Man City transfer news: Could Yaya Toure join Man United?
21 March
As bombshells go it's a big one, but according to the Daily Express Manchester City stalwart Yaya Toure is "open to a shock move to Manchester United".
The veteran midfielder is in the final weeks of his Etihad contract and speculation is rife as to where the 33-year-old Ivory Coast ace will find himself next season. China has long been mooted as a possible destination for Toure, who was frozen out by Pep Guardiola at the start of the season. Since then he's worked his way back into the gaffer's favour and in the past he's stated that he'd like to stay at City beyond the end of this season.
But with no new deal forthcoming as yet, Toure has "opened the door to a move to their fierce rivals" with comments made to Middle East paper, The National, about how he loves the speed of the Premier League.
"I want to stay in England," he said. "If I want to play slow, I will go maybe to Bahrain or France, to Spain or Germany where it is going to be slowed down [but] In England, it is fantastic." According to the Express Toure's agent, Dimtri Seluk, has recently "hinted" his client would be willing to move to United if things don't work out at City.
