3.6/5 Car buyer “Nissan has given the face-lifted Juke some significant revisions for 2014, so while it still has the same eye-catching looks it also has a range of economical engines, a larger boot, and more tech. There are also plenty of positives in terms of comfort as the Juke’s upright driving position gives you an excellent view of the road and a nice feeling of security. Sadly the car’s off-roader stance counts against it, as does the amount road noise produced by the alloy wheels which are plainly too large. And despite having a revised shape, including new bumpers, there’s still noticeable wind noise at cruising speeds. Happily no matter which model you choose, the Nissan Juke comes well-equipped.”

4.0/5.0 Auto Express "Some superminis feel hamstrung by the weight of a diesel engine in the nose, but the Juke isn’t one of them. The updated 1.5 dci diesel version will be the top-seller in the UK thanks to levels of performance that are perfectly adequate for the class. It develops 108bhp and a healthy 260Nm of torque, which allows the Juke to cover 0-62mph in 11.2sec and hit 109mph flat out. It’s also chuckable, and doesn’t feel out of sorts along twisty B-roads. The trade-off, however, comes in ride comfort which is pretty stiff despite the Juke’s amusingly agile handling.”

3.0/5.0 Car “The Juke’s exterior facelift has freshened up the outside, but kept the overall character in place and new customisation options will play a strong role in maintaining sales. Unfortunately the cabin feels a little old – and very cheap – with materials, surfaces and design features that all scream built to a price. Under the bonnet it feels energetic, spritely, and fun with a lightweight gearshift from the six-speed manual.”

3.0/5.0 What Car “The Nissan Juke is a refreshingly different small car that successfully blends supermini with SUV. And although rivals may be more practical and better to drive, the Juke is well-equipped and attractively priced. In addition, despite its tall stance, the Juke doesn’t lurch around uncomfortably through the corners and the steering has a consistent feel. Only the limited grip lets the side down – try to get round a corner a pace and the front end starts to drift wide quite early.
