Tupac ‘faked injuries’ on day of shooting

Tupac faked his injuries on the day he was shot, according to a conspiracy theorist. Speculation has been rife over what happened to the rapper, who was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, on 13 September, 1996. Commenting on a photo believed to have been taken that night, a conspiracy vlogger said: “I believe Tupac purposely put himself in the ambulance to trick the police into thinking that he was shot and he was going to die.”
Pet cat found three years after disappearance
A cat has been reunited with her Kansas City owners after she went missing nearly three years ago. The cat, named Meow, disappeared after Taylor Jezik moved to a new apartment complex. Despite a search, the owner was unable to find the cat. Jezik says she was “instantly started crying” when she realised Meow had finally been found. She adds that she’s “still in shock.”

Man from Brighton dresses only in Regency clothes
A 25-year-old man from Brighton only wears clothes from the 1800s. Zack Pinsent burnt his last pair of jeans when he was 14 and has dressed as a man from the Regency era ever since. He says that during his school days “it was clear that there was an under current of respect” from his classmates.
Scientists offer to turn pets into pearls
Grieving pet owners can now wear their deceased companion around their neck. Scientists in Japan have found a way of growing a cultured pearl from a core consisting of a bone fragment. For the sum of £3,300 the bereaved owner can purchase a memorial necklace. “If we can soothe the grief of the owners who have lost their pets, we will be glad,” said the company offering the scheme.
Parents name their baby Google
A couple in Indonesia have named their baby Google. The baby’s dad, Andi Cahya Saputra, said: “From religion, we considered the names of the prophet, and from the more usual names, we also considered Albar Dirgantara Putra. But when he was finally born, something in my heart told me the name Albar Dirgantara Putra wouldn’t suit him.”
Frenchman invents fart-scenting pills
A man in France says he has invented a pill that can transform the smell of farts, with a range of aromas including roses and chocolate. Christian Poincheval says he was inspired during a particularly flatulent evening, when his dinner guests were offended by the odours he was emitting.
Woman who ‘died’ for 27 minutes sees Jesus and heaven
A woman “died” for 27 minutes and then came back to life with a message about heaven. Tina Hines reached out for the notebook and immediately scribbled down a message: “It’s real.” She later explained that she saw heaven and Jesus after her cardiac arrest. “It was so real, the colours were so vibrant,” she said.
Remains of ‘real-life Loch Ness Monster’ found in Antarctica
The remains of a ‘real-life Loch Ness Monster’ have been discovered in Antarctica. It is believed that the 15-tonne creature would have roamed the Earth around the same time as dinosaurs. Its bone structure suggests it would have strongly resembled the fabled Loch Ness Monster.
Philippines on tsunami alert after ‘warning fish’ wash up on shore
The Philippines is on alert for an earthquake and tsunami alert after 14ft oarfish washed up on the shore. They are known as ”Ryugu no tsukai“ in Japanese, or the ”Messenger from the Sea God’s Palace”. The fish are regarded as an omen, though scientists dispute these claims.
Grey seals can sing Star Wars theme
Grey seals are capable of singing the theme tune to Stay Wars and mimicking human language, according to a new study. Researchers trained three grey seals to copy sound sequences and the seals were soon able to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and the sci-fi movie’s iconic theme. They could also pronounce vowels.
Woman has 34 bridesmaids at wedding
A woman who got married on a beach in Florida, had 34 bridesmaids at her wedding. “I have so many women in my life who mean so much to me,” said Casme Carter. She added: “A lot of them know my journey and know how much of a love bug I am. I wanted them to share this day with me.”
Turtle gets Lego wheelchair
A turtle missing its back legs is able to walk again after it was fitted with a special contraption made using Lego. Louisiana State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital Intern attached Lego pieces under Pedro the turtle using glue and then fix some wheels on. The creature can now run faster than other box turtles because of the wheelchair.
Video sparks claims Michael Jackson is still alive
There is fresh speculation that Michael Jackson is still alive after his voice was reportedly heard at his son’s graduation. In an online video of the pop legend’s son Prince graduating at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles last month, a voice is head which some say belongs to Jacko. However, one online commenter isn’t so sure, writing: “Didn’t sound anything like MJ.”
Slug brings trains to a standstill
A slug caused a power cut that disrupted rail traffic on a Japanese island last month, officials have announced. More than 12,000 people's journeys were affected when dozens of trains on Kyushu came to a standstill. The slimy culprit’s electrocuted remains were found lodged inside equipment next to the tracks, Japan Railways says.
Passenger nods off and wakes on empty plane
An Air Canada passenger says she fell asleep during a flight and then woke up in a dark, empty and locked plane. After the woman nodded off during her 90 minute flight from Quebec to Toronto, she woke several hours later, still buckled in her seat, “freezing cold” and in “complete darkness”. The carrier says it is in contact with the passenger and is reviewing the incident.
