Stitches required after Monopoly brawl

A Kansas man has been treated for severe injuries, after a family game of Monopoly ended in a wild brawl. Police say the man and his cousin began to fight over the game, before the cousin’s girlfriend shoved the man into a large mirror, which shattered, cutting him in a number of places that required stitches.
‘Ghost plane’ abandoned at Spanish airport
The Spanish government is working to discover who owns a large aeroplane that has apparently been abandoned at a Madrid airport. The aircraft – a 40-metre-long McDonnell Douglas MD87 jetliner – reportedly has not been moved for years, and officials have said no one has any idea who it belongs to.

Officer killed playing Russian roulette
A St Louis police officer has been killed during a game of Russian roulette with a colleague. Officer Katlyn Alix, 24, was reportedly shot in the chest by Officer Nathaniel R. Hendren, 29, who had initiated the deadly game by removing five bullets from a revolver before taking turns to discharge the weapon.
