Disney released the first official trailer for the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast on Monday — and it looks like the tale as old as time is taking a darker turn this time around.

The trailer follows the plot of the original animated film, which was released in 1991. Dan Stevens stars as the titular Beast, a man in search of true love, while Emma Watson will don the iconic golden gown as Belle. While a teaser trailer released in May offered fans an early glimpse at Watson's Belle and the aging ornate residence in which she is imprisoned, Monday's clip offers the first look into the library that serves as Belle's intellectual haven. Viewers will also catch Gaston, played by Luke Evans, starting a riot in his iconic red hunting gear, as well as fan favorites Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts.
