1. Dwayne Johnson asks museum to update his wax figure's skin color

The Rock says ... this new wax figure of himself is looking a bit wack. The Musée Grévin in Paris recently unveiled a wax figure of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, drawing widespread mockery and criticism. For one, the figure gives Johnson, who is Black and Samoan, much lighter skin than he has in real life — and some fans argued it more closely resembles Vin Diesel. The sculptor "had to rely on photos and videos to create a statue as close to reality as possible" without Johnson's presence, the museum said. The Rock has now weighed in on Instagram, reposting a video from comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr., who quipped, "Is this how y'all felt when y'all lost the Little Mermaid?" Johnson also revealed he'll be reaching out to the museum so "we can work at 'updating' my wax figure here with some important details and improvements — starting with my skin color." 2. Meryl Streep also quietly separated from her husband years ago

The hot celebrity trend of 2023? Revealing you and your spouse have been secretly separated for years. Like Jada Pinkett Smith, Meryl Streep has confirmed that she and her husband, Don Gummer, are no longer together, and they haven't been for a while. "Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart," Streep's spokesperson told Page Six. Weirdly, six years was also how long Pinkett Smith said she was secretly separated from Will Smith before the 2022 Oscars, so there was apparently something in the air around 2016. Streep married Gummer, a sculptor, in 1978 after meeting him earlier that year, and they share four children: 43-year-old Henry Wolfe, 40-year-old Mamie Gummer, 37-year-old Grace Gummer, and 30-year-old Louisa Jacobson. 3. Emily Blunt apologizes for fat-shaming a server in 2012

Emily Blunt was a little too blunt in a resurfaced interview. The "Quiet Place" star faced backlash after a clip made the rounds showing her fat-shaming a restaurant server on the "Jonathan Ross Show" in 2012. When Ross said going to Chili's makes clear "why so many of our American friends are enormous," Blunt recalled having a server there who "was enormous" and suggested this is because she "got freebie meals at Chili's." Blunt has now apologized, telling People her "jaw was on the floor" watching her old comments. "I'm appalled that I would say something so insensitive, hurtful, and unrelated to whatever story I was trying to tell on a talk show," she said. "I've always considered myself someone who wouldn’t dream of upsetting anyone so whatever possessed me to say anything like this in that moment is unrecognizable to me or anything I stand for." 4. Rachel Zegler replaced in 'Paddington 3' due to actors strike

Has someone placed a curse on Rachel Zegler's filmography? The "West Side Story" and "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" star, whose first two major movies were both box office bombs, will no longer star in "Paddington in Peru." StudioCanal confirmed the news on Monday, explaining the Hollywood actors strike made the American actress "unable to carry out the role in" the "Paddington" sequel. Zegler was announced as part of the cast in June, a few weeks before the strike began, but her role will now be played by newcomer Carla Tous instead. To be clear, Zegler's exit has nothing to do with online backlash to some of her comments about the upcoming "Snow White" remake. Filming on "Paddington in Peru" began in July, and it's now set for release in the U.K. in November 2024 before coming to the U.S. in January 2025. 5. The 'Fallout' TV show finally has a premiere date

Streaming war ... streaming war never changes. After years of anticipation, Prime Video has finally set a release date for its TV series based on the "Fallout" video games. The show will premiere on April 12, 2024, the streamer revealed on Monday. "Fallout" takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland following a nuclear war, and Prime Video said the series will tell an original story that’s canon to the games rather than being a direct adaptation. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of "Westworld," serve as executive producers, and the cast includes Walton Goggins and Kyle MacLachlan. After the massive success of "The Last of Us" on HBO, could this video game show find similar success? If it's anything like the source material, expect most viewers to get so distracted by side stories that they never get around to finishing the season. Prime Video
