The Rock says ... this new wax figure of himself is looking a bit wack. The Musée Grévin in Paris recently unveiled a wax figure of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, drawing widespread mockery and criticism. For one, the figure gives Johnson, who is Black and Samoan, much lighter skin than he has in real life — and some fans argued it more closely resembles Vin Diesel. The sculptor "had to rely on photos and videos to create a statue as close to reality as possible" without Johnson's presence, the museum said. The Rock has now weighed in on Instagram, reposting a video from comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr., who quipped, "Is this how y'all felt when y'all lost the Little Mermaid?" Johnson also revealed he'll be reaching out to the museum so "we can work at 'updating' my wax figure here with some important details and improvements — starting with my skin color." The hierarchy of power in the Musée Grévin will never be the same. Instagram
