Unai Emery is a ‘dead man walking’: Arsenal fans want head coach out
It’s another bad away day for the Gunners as they lose 1-0 at Sheffield United
Premier League matchweek nine Sheffield United 1 Arsenal 0
Many Arsenal supporters are calling for head coach Unai Emery to be sacked after watching their side crash to a 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United on Monday.
The Gunners had the chance to move back into the Premier League top four, but Lys Mousset’s 30th-minute goal gave the Blades a deserved victory.

The defeat leaves Arsenal fifth in the table after yet another disappointing away day. Emery’s side are unbeaten at home, however, they have now lost two and drawn two of their last four games on the road.
With performances such as the one at Bramall Lane they could again struggle to finish in the Champions League qualification places.
Writing on Fansided’s Pain in the Arsenal Andrew Dowdeswell said: “I am not sure what needs to change. It might be the players, maybe the manager, perhaps a combination of different things. But something needs to change because this is absolutely not good enough.”
On Emery’s future, Dowdeswell added: “On social media, there is an increasing unification of the fan base: it is time for Emery to go.
“I am not quite sure I am there just yet. I certainly understand the argument, and I agree with many of them, but I also believe that a manager should be given time, especially when he has inherited the situation Emery inherited at the Emirates.”
Evra: Arsenal are babies
Speaking on Sky Sports’s Monday Night Football former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra called the Gunners “weak” and labelled them “babies”.
The Frenchman said: “Sheffield United deserved the win, but I’m not surprised about Arsenal.
“I used to call them ‘my babies’ 10 years ago, and they are still, when I look at them and think they are ‘my babies’... that’s the truth - I’m not being disrespectful when I say that.
“They look pretty, but they don’t look like a winning team. They like playing good football, but I was so happy to play against them, because I knew I was going to win.
“Even when Robin van Persie came, and on the first day I shook his hand, and I said, ‘welcome to a man’s club’. At the beginning, he was upset, but after one month he said, ‘you were completely right, Patrice’.
“I just don’t see any leadership. I don’t see any character or any personality. They look weak mentally.”
