The Spice Girls' UK reunion tour is officially happening
The Spice Girls have officially announced their highly rumored 2019 U.K reunion tour — sans Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice.
The remaining band members — Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie C (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), and Mel B (Scary Spice) — announced their first tour in a decade on Monday by releasing a cheeky video on social media. They'll be joined by singer Jess Glynne, who will open for them on their six-date tour.
Beckham addressed her absence from the tour in a heartfelt statement. "Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life," she said, "and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour."

The Spice Girls have been teasing a reunion tour for the past several months, reports US Weekly. Beckham posted a picture of all five group members on Instagram in February, and in June Mel B told Hoda Kotb of Today that they would certainly have some upcoming performances.
The British pop group became a global sensation back in the 1990s after releasing their debut hit, "Wannabe." They haven't appeared on stage together since 2012, when they performed at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in London. Fans who can bear the thought of a Beckham-less reunion will have the chance to spice up their lives when tickets go on sale on Nov. 10.
