Style counsel: Revive your wardrobe with Enclothed
An online personal stylist could steer you in new sartorial direction
Do you find yourself buying the same pieces of clothing, over and over again? The same style of shirts from the same few high-street shops?
Enclothed, an online personal shopping service, could be just the thing to coax you out of a sartorial cul de sac.
You begin by answering a few questions about your tastes and habits – and letting your stylist know how adventurous you're feeling. He or she will then pick out a range of items from more than 40 high-end brands.

It's up to you how prescriptive you want to be: you can request an outfit for a particular occasion, specify cuts and colours, or leave it all to the experts. Most of what arrives by courier in a neatly packed box will be tailored to your existing preferences, but a few items might send you in a new direction.
You have five days to try everything on – plenty of time to decide you will risk those scarlet jeans after all - then you box up anything that didn't take your fancy and it's collected and returned. You pay only for the items you keep; delivery and collection are free.
The Week Portfolio set Enclothed the challenge of breathing life into the wardrobe of a tired old editor – and the service passed with distinction.
An array of muted shirts and jumpers blended perfectly with his existing attire, but there were a few surprises too. One pair of jeans was a touch too skinny, but a quilted Scotch and Soda jacket ticked all the boxes: stylish, versatile and a perfect fit.
