Premier League relegation odds: Alan Pardew leaves West Brom
Bottom-of-the-table Baggies put Darren Moore in charge for final six games
Alan Pardew has parted ways with West Bromwich Albion after winning only one of his 18 matches in charge.
The Baggies, who are bottom of the Premier League with 20 points from 32 matches, lost 2-1 at home against Burnley on Saturday – a defeat too far for Pardew. The atmosphere at The Hawthorns “prompted the club to take action”, Sky Sports reports.
First-team coach Darren Moore is in charge for the final six games, starting with Saturday’s match against Swansea. He will be out to stop a run of nine successive defeats.

The former Baggies player has called for “unity” despite the club’s perilous position.
“We need to get the unity back among everyone - the players, the staff, the fans, everyone connected with Albion, because that is the only way forward," he told Sky Sports.
“I felt the pain on Saturday just like everyone. It’s their club and it’s their passion and love for it which makes it so painful at the moment. But let’s get that unity back. We’ve had tough days before and we’ve always bounced back and that’s what we will do again.”
In the weekend’s other games involving teams battling relegation, 19th-placed Stoke City lost 3-0 at Arsenal, Southampton were beaten 3-0 at West Ham and Crystal Palace lost 2-1 at home to Liverpool.
Huddersfield’s survival chances took a major hit as they lost 1-0 at Newcastle United while Swansea City were beaten 2-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford.
