1. Bernie Sanders wins Wyoming caucus

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders won the Wyoming caucus Saturday, marking his eighth win over Hillary Clinton in the last nine state contests. Sanders led Clinton with 56 percent support to 44 percent. Wyoming is a low-stakes state with just 14 delegates, and Clinton still holds a massive lead in delegates and superdelegates overall.

2. Ted Cruz sweeps Colorado delegates

Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz won the 13 delegates up for grabs at Colorado's convention Saturday, solidifying his sweep of all 34 delegates. As the Texas senator keeps picking up delegates, he increases the odds that frontrunner Donald Trump will not be able to lock up enough delegates to secure the nomination outright, instead forcing a contested convention in July. "I am confident we are going to win in Cleveland at a contested convention," Cruz said.

3. Official: Brussels attackers planned to hit France

The terrorists that planned the March attacks in Brussels had initially planned to target France instead, the Belgian federal prosecutor's office said Sunday. They apparently switched gears after noting the speed of the ongoing investigation into the November attacks in Paris, which killed 130 people across several sites. The targets of the new Paris attacks, the prosecutor said, were to be an unidentified Catholic association and La Défense, a large office complex northwest of the city.

4. North Korea claims to have tested new rocket engine

North Korea claimed to have tested a new long-range rocket engine Saturday. Theoretically, the move means they're closer to being capable of launching nuclear strikes on the U.S. mainland. But there's no independent confirmation of the country's claim, and experts say the development is highly unlikely. South Korean officials claim their neighbor doesn't even have a functional intercontinental ballistic missile.

"Purportedly to 'keep boys from fighting.'"
