He has also covered film, television and entertainment news as a freelancer for Collider and United Press International. He has helmed live-blog coverage of the war in Ukraine, interviewed the courtroom artist for the Ghislaine Maxwell trial and once received a single-word statement from director Spike Lee.
Based in Chicago, he is a big hockey fan and has previously covered NHL analysis and the Chicago Blackhawks for Fansided.
